Start each day with God's Word
"For we live by faith, not by sight."
2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)In a world that demands proof, evidence, and visible results, God calls us to live by faith. This doesn't mean we ignore reality or live in denial—rather, it means we choose to trust God's promises even when we can't see the outcome.
Think about Abraham, who left his home without knowing where he was going. Consider Moses, who led Israel toward a land he had never seen. Reflect on the disciples who left everything to follow Jesus. Each of these heroes of faith took steps of obedience before they could see the results.
Today, you may be facing circumstances that don't make sense. The path ahead might be unclear, and the answers you seek may seem distant. But remember: God sees what you cannot. He knows the end from the beginning. Your job isn't to figure everything out—it's to trust the One who already has.
Faith isn't the absence of questions or doubts. It's choosing to believe God's character and promises despite our circumstances. It's taking the next step even when we can't see the entire staircase. It's saying "yes" to God before we know all the details.
What is God asking you to trust Him with today? Where do you need to walk by faith instead of sight? Take that step. Trust His heart even when you can't see His hand. He is faithful, and He will guide you.
Heavenly Father, help me to walk by faith and not by sight. When I can't see the path ahead, remind me that You are with me. Give me courage to trust Your promises and obey Your word, even when I don't understand. Strengthen my faith today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
